Hi guys

So, months ago I wrote here about this Player -Ds-Ganta due his behavior and I uploaded to YouTube a video that I recorded because I was not admin of DoD Source back in the day to do something. Today, I was playing again on Ava 24/7 and I see him again on the Spectators side. I switched to spectators and again: strange music and talking, swearing, etcetera. On that server I banned him for 1 week (reasonable time) and then all good. A few minutes after, I went to Strand 24/7 (Charlie) and I see him again doing the same, actually the player "(1)Kilroy" was there and listened to this swedish guy with me. I recorded footage aswell to show it to you, My last resource was to perma ban Ganta, he never understood and stopped.

My objective of this post is to let you know what I'm doing and if I'm doing it right, because I'm new to this Moderator role and receive feedback from other admins that have more time working as Moderators of MM.

I believe you've made the right thing. Here are some reasons:

1st - He has been warned before but would not stop swearing and breaking the server rules.

2nd - Since he got a short term ban, he had his chance to rethink about his bad behaviour.

3rd - Some players will never change their bad behavior no matter what you do.

If the player is being disruptive, by all means, kick/ban.
If he was asked to stop and he continued even after being warned, then a ban is justified.

There is no god-given human right that people have to play on our servers.

When thinking about banning I usually ask myself this question: Is this person the sort of player we and our regulars want on our servers? Do we want this guy in our community?

If the answer is no, then amx_ban..... He can go and do what he does on somebody else's servers, no problem.

Sounds to me like we don't want or need this guy on our servers - so good job :)
